How the process works

From your first contact to beginning services — here's what to expect.

1

Contact our office

Reach out by phone or through our contact form. We'll discuss your child's needs and which services may be appropriate.

2

Gather your insurance information

Have your insurance card and member ID ready. We'll help you understand what information you'll need to verify with your carrier.

3

Contact your insurance carrier

Call the member services number on your card to ask about coverage for pediatric therapy services and any applicable deductibles or copays.

4

Schedule an evaluation

Once you have a clear picture of your benefits, we'll schedule an initial evaluation to assess your child's needs and develop a plan.

5

Begin services

Your child's therapy begins. We'll work with you throughout the process and answer any questions that come up along the way.

What to have ready when you call your insurance carrier

Having the right information on hand makes the verification process faster and easier.

  • Your insurance card (front and back)
  • Member ID and group number
  • Your child's date of birth
  • The type of therapy you're inquiring about
  • Ask about deductibles, copays, and visit limits
  • Ask whether a referral or prior authorization is required

Important coverage information

Insurance coverage for pediatric therapy services depends on your specific policy, your child's eligibility, medical necessity determinations, referral and authorization requirements, and other factors determined by your insurance carrier. Kredo Health's participation with an insurance plan does not guarantee that services will be covered for your child. Families are responsible for contacting their insurance carrier to verify their individual benefits and financial responsibility before beginning services.
