Educational tutoring for children with learning differences
Learning looks different for every child. Our educational tutoring services are designed for children who need individualized academic support — whether they are working through a learning disability, processing differences, or simply need a different approach to reach their potential.
What our tutoring services include
One-on-one academic support
Individualized sessions tailored to your child's learning style, strengths, and areas of need — not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.
Reading and literacy
Structured literacy instruction for children with dyslexia or reading delays, using evidence-based approaches to build decoding, fluency, and comprehension.
Math support
Conceptual and procedural math instruction for children who struggle with number sense, computation, or math reasoning.
Executive function skills
Organization, planning, time management, and study skills — the foundational skills that make academic success possible.
Homework support
Structured homework assistance that builds independence and reduces family stress around schoolwork.
Test preparation and study strategies
Practical strategies for studying, retaining information, and performing on assessments.
Who we serve
Our tutoring services are designed for school-age children who have learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, processing differences, or other challenges that affect academic performance. We work closely with families and, when appropriate, with school teams to ensure our support is aligned with your child's educational goals.
Tutoring as part of a whole-child approach
At Kredo Health, tutoring does not happen in isolation. Our tutors work alongside our therapy team — speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and behavior analysts — to ensure that academic support is informed by your child's full developmental picture. A child working on language processing in speech therapy, for example, benefits when their tutor uses the same strategies in reading instruction.
Funding through Step Up For Students
Educational tutoring services may be eligible for funding through the Step Up For Students Unique Abilities Scholarship (formerly the Gardiner Scholarship). This scholarship is available to Florida students with qualifying disabilities and can be used to pay for approved educational services, including tutoring. Frequently asked questions
Why families choose Kredo Health
We're more than a therapy clinic. We're your partner — from the first phone call through every milestone your child reaches.
Every specialist your child needs, in one place
Speech therapy, occupational therapy, and ABA — all under one roof. No juggling appointments across three different clinics. No gaps in communication between providers. Just one team, focused on your child.
Your child's therapists actually talk to each other
When your child receives more than one service at Kredo Health, their therapists coordinate on shared goals and share what they're seeing. That means every session builds on the last — not in a silo.
You're part of the team, not just a bystander
We teach you the strategies your child's therapist uses so progress doesn't stop when the session ends. Parent involvement isn't optional here — it's built into how we work.
We believe in starting early
The earlier a child gets support, the more the brain can adapt and grow. We take early concerns seriously and work to get children into services quickly — because waiting rarely makes things easier.
Support that goes beyond the therapy room
We help families navigate insurance questions, school IEPs, referrals, and next steps. We're not just here for the session — we're here for the whole journey.
Your neighbors, not a national chain
We're a local clinic rooted in the West Orlando community — Windermere, Horizon West, Winter Garden, Clermont, and beyond. We know the schools, the pediatricians, and the families we serve.
